Considerations of dynamic range in stable isotope analysis part 2: elemental abundance
The dynamic range of a stable isotope analyzer is defined as the ratio of the largest to the smallest beam sizes that can be usefully measured. But dynamic range has an influence in a number of different ways that the instrument is used.
This Technical Note discusses how the variation in elemental abundances in the samples bring additional necessary considerations and how our instruments are ideally placed to ensure that you are able to effortlessly analyze demanding samples.
