Considerations of dynamic range in stable isotope analysis part 1: intrinsic isotope abundance
The dynamic range of a stable isotope analyzer is defined as the ratio of the largest to the smallest beam sizes that can be usefully measured. But dynamic range has an influence in a number of different ways that the instrument is used.
This Technical Note discusses the impact of relative isotope abundance and how our instrumentation provides elegant solutions to these technical demands.
