The PTW of TU Darmstadt is using Elementar instruments to optimize its research into enhancing the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of additive manufacturing.
The Institute for Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools (PTW) of the Technische Universität Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) is one of the leading research institutes in the field of application-oriented production research, and makes a major contribution to the ongoing development of production technology in Germany. This is a vital area of research, as every second job in Germany is linked to production. As such, PTW works to regularly scrutinize existing production systems and manufacturing technologies and drive them forward through innovation. The goal is to reshape and drive the production technology of tomorrow forward.
The institute selected Elementar’s instrumentation for this project due to its reputation for modern technology and compact devices, as well as the inductar® instruments’ capability to offer easy export of the raw data to streamline the analysis.
