Technical Note
High sensitivity δ34S analyses in samples with low sulfur abundance
The simultaneous analysis of carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur isotopes is difficult for organic samples with a low suflur content due to the very high C:S ratio, which can create problems with the gas separation required prior to isotopic analysis.
The Technical Notes describes how our EA-IRMS solutions offer exceptional advantages for samples with a low sulfur content and limited sample material. As example, analysis results of bone collagen are presented.
