Determining the nitrogen content of diesel exhaust fluid
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), or AdBlue, is used in catalytic converters of diesel engines in order to lower the NOx concentration in diesel exhaust emissions. For quality control purposes, it is essential to analyze the total nitrogen content in DEF.
This Application Note shows the results of AdBlue analyses using our rapid N exceed® and rapid MAX N exceed nitrogen analyzers for fast and automated nitrogen determination.
